I'm gonna keep the Vince Ultra Torque cam I have now. I like it I don't think you need big cams with FI. As long as it has descent lift, you want more power, again, you just turn up the boost

i just figured i could prolly find a 4.8 block cheaper than a ls1 or a 5.3 so i figured since the 4.8 and 5.3 are essentially the same block i would go with the cheaper of the two(common sense) and have an iron block ls1 for a fraction of what a ls1 costs. just tryin to stay budgeted as much as possible, i am still in school.....by the way mark what # are those 8.1L injectors compared to my stock 5.3 witch i think are around 26-28 if im not mistaken....thanks..

8.1L injectors are rated at 36.4 pounds at our fuel pressure PSI and the stock 00-up injectors are 24ish. My 99 injectors are rated at 19 lbs.

did you have good luck with your sts turbo kit? i am going between that and a magnacharger kit.....which would be optimal as i am wanting this to still be streetable but have some nice 1000ft. and 1/4 mile times...

Yep, my 99 injectors are at 110% duty cycle so the 8.1L injectors should cover me up to a full bolt on 6.0.

I also got them at a steal of $24 with 5 miles on the set.

Well I have one vehicle and only one vehicle. I drive my truck 20k miles a year so lets hope the 3200 stall is streetable.

In your regular cab a 3200 will be fine. If you are really worried just go with a yank, they are a very "tight" converter.

See my sig That 1/4 time was 2 weeks ago in Phoenix, AZ with my cam only stock 4.8 and 11.5 lbs of intercooled, meth injected boost. My trucks weighs 5500 with me in it. I like the turbo, cuz it has more room to grow then the Radix. And my truck is still VERY reliable, I drive it cross country all the time. It's been on my truck for over 2 years and about 35k miles.
