that integrated manifold thing sounds pretty sweet. expensive to produce, hard to work on and hard to clean. bit cool

Its gonna happen. I happen to live in the Buffalo area and N Tonowanda is about 25 mins away from me. It was in the Buffalo news the other day, so i think its a go. They are supposedly getting ready for it right now. Plus its gonna create more jobs, which is always a good thing.

I bought a diesel 2001 VW TDI Beetle a few months ago and it gets 50MPG!! I parked my truck when gas went over $3.00.

Loke Spoolin says I am considering a TDI Jetta. Are you getting 50 mpg with auto or manual trans?

And make them available in everything! How bout a reg. shout bed 4.5L diesel!
And how about a Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban with a diesel! I know quite a few people that want to tow with a SUV so they can take their family along in comfort without buying a truck that is 20 freaking feet long.
As far as cost?? We all know that GM really likes their trucks so it is probably going to be expensive.

Thats with the stick. The autos get 40-45 mpg. Maybe not that good my buddy has a auto TDI bug and avg. 43mpg.

I am looking at getting higher OD and getting around 55mpg.

I am surely they will offer it in the burbin' I doubt the hoes will get it!

I thinking it will be a $4,000 option. And will more than likely come with a 14sf rear end a a 6l80E.

I just hope they will let you order it in several models and trim levels. And am sure a W/T version will be offered.
