We'll see what the new V8 can net

Well I had a 160+ pound passenger when I ran it. Would loosing that weight gain me any time?

I've got a 4.3L and a tune really woke up that motor.

Here are my mods :

Edelbrock Headers TES Mid-length, Jet hot coated
Edelbrock 2.25" Y pipe to 3" collector
Custom Stainless mid section
Cutout
High flow cat
MSD wires
Flow master muffer 3" inlet, 2.25" dual out
Accel Coil
CFM-Tech bored throttle body
Electric fans - computer controled
K&N FIPK
Relocated IAT sensor
Removed EGR and tube- block off plate installed, and cap
Air pump removed

Stock 3.42 limited slip diff

Future plans:
LS1 Coil packs
Mercuriser Intake

Getting currently 25 MPG on the highway 112K miles. I'm going to keep my V6 until it dies and then LSX swap.
