Default 4.3 to 6.0 swap???? Is it as easy...

I am shopping around for a new RCSB and all i can find are V6s. Is it fairly easy to swap in a 6.0l in place of a 4.3? The 6.0l im looking at getting comes w/ everything including accesories, ECM, exh. manifolds, etc...

You are better off with a high milege truck in excellent cosmetic condition with a 4.8. I am sure you can get something like that for under 10K.

I think im going to end up trading my car in, and i think i won't get screwed as bad on a new one. I may end up going w/ an ECSB if the V6 swap is too much $$ or if i can't find a v8.

yes, the swap will cost alot, you have to swap PCM and msot of the wiring andn tranmission crap and this and that. now if youbought one with a 4.8 the swap would be easy and all you would need is the engine. everything else would jsut plug in and be done.
