370 Goin Back Together
Got tired of payin insurance and truck payments when its just settin in the driveway tore apart. So Im finally gettin around to gettin it back together. Got the Comp 244/248 .612/.615 112 lsa Cam, front cover, lifters, and trays back in tonight. The Cometic .040 head gaskets and Patiot Gold Dual Valve Spings should be here tomorrow if Im lucky. Head wise, I traded my nitrous kit for a set of 243 LS6 heads with the valves. I had them milled .030. Yep I know its a big cam but all this thing is going to be doin from now on is just drivin around town, Im tired of tearin up parts left and right. Trans is still shot and just have first and second gear, it will be good just to putt around town in. Besides I think it would be pretty cool leaving the church after my wedding in this bad boy.

Holy camshaft Batman! I didn't even know CompCams made a cam bigger than a 238/240! You're looking at no less than a 2800-7000 rpm camshaft there. Why so darn high? What are the specs of your bottom end?
