Does any one know where I can find a 6 liter out of an escalade. I plan on doing the swap in the next week or so, but I'm having a problem finding one. If any one has one it would not be a problem for me to come get it if they would not like to ship it. Any help would be appreciated.

Drive to Lubbock TX and make a trade with Jason 98 TA. He has a 6 liter he wants to trade for a 5.3 and some cash. Search this forum.

 

what gives the escalde 345 hp unlike the regular truck 6.0 motor

 

Partly a numbers game, but it does have flat top pistons giving it a 10:1 compression compared to a normal 6 liters 9.4:1 compression. I'm sure it has a little more aggressive timing as well.

 

thanks is this the same motor that is going in the ss truck or something more radical
