Default 2WD guys, any suggestions for traction?

M freind has an ATI on his 01 Silverado with some ET streets and still can seem to pull good sixty foot times. What seems to be the best suspension kit system out there for this? He has a 2" drop if that matters at all.

What kind of times is he running? I just pulled a 1.81 60' an I know there are others getting better 60' times on slicks or drag radials.

Does he have a locking differential? If your not sure you can look at the RPO codes in the glove box for G80.

Do the cal-tracs require any welding, or is it a bolt on kit? To bad they dont have some kind of torque arm setup for trucks.

cal trac's, qa1's, and et streets or some type of slick seems to work out well.

Cal-tracs are bolt on. I had to have the bushings in the front of the leaf springs pressed out. I beat on them for 30 minutes prolly, and never got anywhere with them.

30 minutes at a press and they were out and the new inserts were in.
