Is 2500 enough stall for a TR220 cam?

All in what you want from your truck!
Should be fine if its only gonna be a daily driver
There maybe be spots at low rpm where its sluggish from being under the powerband, but soon as its in the powerband it will be fine just gonna take a sec

Well does anyone know of a cam whose powerband would work well with a 2500 stall? I'm not dead set on the 220 and like I said its a dd so I could probably get away with something smaller I just don't want to be disapointed. I guess I might as well bite the bullet and order a 3k yank.

I would but I want to wait til I get a built trans. That way if/when this one takes a **** it wont be taking a nice stall with it.. I want atleast a 3200-3400 circle D when it comes time.
A 216/220 would be better suited for that verter.. Here is a 1 of my speedo vids from about 20mph rolling into it cutout closed.

Id do it from a dig so you could see the full RPM range, But i will just spin.

LOL I'll call comp tomorrow and see about getting a 150/150 .400/.400. I think I've decided to just go with a Circle D, they seem to be as good and cheaper than yank.
