212/218 cam in 5.3 = Good fun!

I'm not sure on the actual numbers. Never dynoed mine, but it was good bit of bump in power. The torque of the hemi got me off the line, and his gearing, but I sat beside for a second, then took off. I don't REALLY feel the full power of it until around 2500rpm, however, anything under that doesn't feel worse than stock so that's good. Gears or stall would really wake it up.

I did a small cam on my 5.3 in my S-10, and there was a nice torque gain in the midrange. It felt much better than stock, and it also helped with the throttle response, which was just icing on the cake. It was this one...
Voodoo Hydraulic Roller Cam - GM LS GEN III/IV 267/273 - Lunati Power
It dynoed 309hp at the wheel with shorty headers and a restrictive exhaust. If I recall correctly, the torque was around 330 with a nice fat torque curve.
