Default 2005 e-fan guys, which fan is which???

Which fan does GM designate as left and right? The blades on both fans are not the same. This schematic has me confused!! Help!

Not that I know for sure, but every left and right part that I've replaced has been L=driver's side and R=passenger's side...so I would *assume* that the fans are the same way.

Ok. Got them in and all wired up. Low speed doesnt seem like it ever wants to turn off. Even with the a/c turned off. I havent heard high speed..... Other than when I forced it to high with EFILive... Any pointers on a/c settings to use/try??

Did you wire it using pins 33 and 42?

Here are the settings I used.

The AC settings are in PSI, if you use ones similar to mine the make sure you set up your inputs to PSI, I made that mistake when changing mine and did not work right.

Make sure you change
G1203 - Series Parallel
G0101 - Fan #2 control

Here are the stock 05 settings, too high for my tastes....

I used some that BigRedExpress99 posted a while back. Ill find a link for them in a bit. I wonder if that min on time is what was flaking things out. I may give your settings a try and see what it does tomorrow.

Log your AC pressures and see what they are, then adjust your settings to your liking. I lowered mine so the both fans basically kick on when the AC is turned on, so the AC was cold..
