you will probably be paying so much more bacause it's a regency and it's got a 4.8. You might find a regular 5.3 for less. Let me know if you are still looking for a truck. I wll help you fine one on this side of the Valley.

They had one here on Robert's Chevrolet single cab not sure what engine but it's an LS. will check it out tomorow and let you know. I also saw several GMC here at Bert Ogden I am sure one of them has to have a 5.3. I will let you know.

I paid 19,200 out the door in 04/02 for my '02 sierra rcsb with a 5.3 SLE package with 3.73 locking rear diff and heavy duty trailering package. I ran one of those rst trucks with mine. I have a k&n drop in and exhaust and I tore him up from a grunt. I think the 4.8's are lacking on the low end torque. On the freeway he may have given me a better run. buy the 5.3 you won't be sorry. in a rcsb they run well. I have never heard a 5.3 owner wish he would have got the 4.8 nuff said

the only reason I would get a 4.8 is if I had intention on doing a swap.
