Anyone found a torque converter available for the 03 a/t transmission? I have a customer wanting to hot rod his truck. Why he didn't buy the 5.3l I have no idea. I think he didn't know there was more than one engine option on the 1/2 ton. anyone have any good bad experiences with the late model transmissions and converter swaps?

 

there are tons of performance parts for the transmission in that truck. i would go with something like a 3200-3600 stall with it. and some long tubes would be nice also. some 4.10 gears would help that 4.8 get going a little better.
