2000 5.3 Dyno 235k Miles and bolt-ons
#19
Full throttle power and general driving. What I saw was a smoother power curve when the dyno software smoothing effect is reduced. Best way I can describe it is in speed density the power feels like it comes in waves, with the MAF on it is smoother overall. You can see far more dips and rises in speed density mode in the graph with less smoothing. I have even played with a MAF on a TBI 350 on one setup and it also ran much smoother on the MAF and made more average power. Throttle response is also noticeably better in my experience.

Speed density has been proven time and time again.
