2 new mods, 2 sec. off ET.,NEW BEST !

Well Haven`t run the truck since last spring but the new mods really helped out..hehe!
Weather was nice at HRP (61 deg. 46% hum. 30.16 baro). Only got in one run because of all the breakdowns from old school cars and we also had no helment..
First added a 100 shot of TNT nitrous (wet shot)..This really helps to get the weight moving on this 6000 lb plus truck..The second mod is a new air induction that I was able to get a beta model of..Its really cool! Mine came in smoke clear ..I jeted the the duel jets from the TNT ring into thier nitrous tube beta model..Worked great to say the least..
We ran with our 285 x 16 BFG All terrains and locked it in four wheel drive to get traction.. I filmed my GF making the run against a 89 5.0 mustang that she beat by a strong margin in the quarter.. I almost droped the camera , when I saw how hard this big truck launched!
Here is the run ..Tony linked a mpeg of the run in the drag section. MOst of the ET gain came from droping almost a full half second off the sixty foot time...Just have to get the weight moving and the ET will follow.. We will try for some 1.80 sixty foots next time out..
1.915 sixty Yes, 1.91 sixty in a 3/4 ton 4x4!
5.589
8.746
77.81 mph
11.515 1000ft
13.890
94.35 mph
The truck had everthing on it, tools, side steps, interior, jack and 8 gallons of 93 pump gas.. The only thing missing was the spare..

Neil,
I am really trying to find a place to weigh this truck but have had no luck..HRP scales only go up to 5000 lbs, I think..Anyway it won`t weigh my truck.. I was looking at your truck weight and trying to add 4x4 and 3/4 ton weight and see but still not sure.. I am looking for some good truck scales..I am still guessing that with driver and all,, that the race weight is around 6000 to 6200 lbs..I will let you know when I find out though..

How you doing.
My dad has a 1999 Silverado 2500HD 4*4 6.0L extended cab longbed.(One of the first built I think) Its loaded. His truck ways in at 5960 with a cap on the bed. That weight is just the truck with about 3/4 tank of gas and no one in it. I don't think the cap ways more than 100-200 pounds or so. That should give you an idea what your truck weighs.
Forgot, he also has some helper springs that probably add a few pounds.
It really doesn't matter what the truck weighs when it smacks around Mustangs like that.
Take it easy.

No prob, I was just wondering. I take mine down to the local cotton gin truck scales. There are only 3 gins withing a 5 mile radius of my house though, so it's pretty easy for me to do.
