Default 160 thermo

is a 160* thermostat a dumb thing to get or is it worth while?
cooling is a big concern for me down in houston, specially w the sc.

I have one and it keeps the temps nice and cool sits around 180 or so on the cluster gauge.

Same here...my efans are set to come on at 180* and off at 173*. The PCM goes into closed loop around 137* or something like that, so being stuck in open loop isn't a concern.
