Default 160 or 180 T-stat with Radix

Like the title says, what would be better. I'm going to get e-fans, and was just wondering what would be better. Will this set up be fine in the summer when towing a boat?

I would go no colder than a 180! The e-fans will be a good mod for you! Call me tomorrow and I can get you the bracket you need.

The lower the coolant temperature is allowed to stay the more wear the internals will endure. The amount of wear vs. coolant temp is actually inversely exponential to a point. Optimal for wear, emissions, and economy is 195 degrees. Optimal for maximum boost while still preventing the computer from setting codes or staying in open loop is 160 degrees. Running a 180 is a good compromise between 160 and 195. If you can run the 180 without getting knock retard, run that one. If it's pinging then you pretty much have to run the 160.
