I think 4.8s only have 8 . Two per cylinder. They are only a 4 cylinder right?

tripple springs wouldn't come out to 40....

 

triple springs on the intake and double springs on the exhaust would come out to 40

of course with that many springs I'm not sure the motor could rotate the valvetrain !!!...can you imagine the seat pressure at compressed height...like 600-700lbs or more !!!

 

Sorry, wasnt thinking. I do that some times. 48 Springs They call them triple springs, but really all they are are two with a dampener between them.
