I am thinking of trading in the 2000 Chevy 5.3 for a new GMC 1500HD 4x4. Are there any things I need to know about the 6.0 that are different from the 5.3. Also, I know that it is going to be bigger and heavier, but how do they run as compared to one another. The one I am looking at has the 4:10 rearend. My dad has a 2002 5.3 with the 3:73 and no modifications. I don't want to lose to him. What am I going to have to do to make up for the wieght?
