Very good numbers for all motor 4.8. Props to ya for sticking with the little motor to see what it can do.

my average was between 14.1-14.2 I made 5 14.0 runs and a 13.95 run as well. This was on cooper street tires on stock rims. I am hoping to get a set of et streets soon, because traction is a real issue. I am getting a lot of wheel hop of the line rather I brake stall or flash stall so hopefuly so food tires will change my best time.
I dont think just some tires will solve your wheel hop problems... If I remember correctly, the cause of wheel hopping is from axle wrap (remember I said if I remember correctly, i could be wrong...) I believe the only way to fix the wheel hop problem is either traction bars or a good 4-link...

I do ask that somebody corrects me if I am wrong, but as far as I know this is how it goes...

But I must say, these kinda times with a 4.8 blow my mind... I gotta give you some major props, what kinda compression you runnin w/ that motor???

Looks like that 4.8 can Git-r-done.

Is this SCSB = Supercab or single cab? We've always refered to a singlecab as a RC.

the tune is great, the cam sounds and runs great, but I still have a lag when it shifts into 3rd. I am shiftting at 6000 to 6100. I did mean to put traction bars as wellto get rid of wheel hop, I just hope tires will help with the traction. The truck is a single cab short bed. You can tell when the truck starts hitting on the 100 tune because is sound a little different.

yea I must say I like it. I had to have it rebuilt one because my tranny blew and that was when I had it bumped to a 3800.

Just a suggestion, you ever consider shifting at 6400-6500. That cam of yours should still be pulling at that rpm range on your 4.8.
