Opening on the intake is 90mm but the tb is only 87mm..You could try and ls3 tb which is a true 90mm but i doubt you'll gain anything from it..

IMO the gains from any different throttle body other than what you've got now especially with the stock intake manifold would be very minimal. Not sure what you have done to your truck to this point but the money that you'd spend on a throttle body could be put towards another mod that would make more of an impact.

Some claim better throttle response and drivability with the ls7 90mm tb. Just depends on each vehicle imo.

I put a ported tb on mine and gained some throttle response. If there was any power gain...it was minimal at best. Might have lost just a little fuel economy though, but that is a tough call. I have taken the thing off a few times and replaced it with my stock tb, but now I think that it is back on for good.

TB would be lower on my list. LT's with ORY, CAM and a torque converter would be my first choices. Even with the addition of a Procharger to my truck recently i wont upgrade it till later. From what I understand you will notice better gains with a FI system that is sucking air through a TB versus pushing.
