if i put 11psi on my truck with a hot cam, heads, fast 90/90, lt headders, ory, and gibson extreme, what all do i need to do to the rest of the drive train?

what do i need to do with it, i'm here for all the help i can get. lgmotorsports is setting up the cam, heads, and intake.

 

id go with a 80e swap and you might need a 14 bolt not sure though

 

you need to get a built tranny or build it yourself.....and your also going to need more fuel i belive

it also might help if you tell us more about it....motor, 2x4 or 4x4 just a little backround on your truck...

 

it's a 2004 2wd 4dr 5.4L LT, i like being comfortable while on patrol.

 

if its a tahoe is has a 5.3L

on patrol????? Damb only in texas would a cop have a head/cam Tahoe with 11psi as his patrol car That is just funny as hell.

I would suggest a 4l65e built by finish line performance.

 

no need for a 14bolt IMO. 12 bolt would be good and that'd hold a lotta horses.
fuel upgrade.
definately a torque converter to go with that trans. 3000 stall depending on the cam. HD tranny cooler (not the stock one) and a few more things. other members will chime in on other stuff
