I already had the headers on when I installed and it was way too loud for me.

I would say it would be about right without headers.

Thanks. I think I am going to order one from Summit shortly. It can't possibly be any louder than the Flowmaster I have on and will no doubt perform better. I'm also thinking of putting another round "bullet" muffler where the resonator is...

Post up how you like it afterwards. My new ride is on the way so trip to our shop and up on the lift it goes for a muffler swap if you like yours.

I'm interested as well since I have a '11 6.2 on order.

The 22" w/out headers will be fairly quiet on idle and have a nice tone on acceleration. I would try to see if they have a non offset version, this will make it easier to route the pipe.

the magnaflow 14909 fits fine. it's side and center

here is the stock muffler, non offset will not fit

For anyone who wants to know, Magnaflow #12909 is the same muffler as above but in satin stainless finish, it is a bit cheaper.

You should definitely get a whole new cat-back and I will buy your stock one.

We'll see i'm thinkin muffler for now way easier to swallow than 500+ for a catback that doesn't really show an improvement on the *** dyno.

Hey Allgonoshow, do you have pictures of your exhaust and any sound clips? I was thinking of getting ARH lt's 1 7/8 w/cats. But keep the stock exhaust, but if it sounds better with the magna, then I'm going that route also.
