i have the 1.8 crane rockers. they give mostly top end power, but to get their full potential you're gonna have to go with a bigger bore. i'm not sure which engine you have, mine is the 5.3. if you're just going to go as far as bolt on's then i'd say save your money because they're pretty damn expensive for the little power you'll get out of them. but if you're going ***** out, it'll make for a great valvetrain set up. that's my opinion.

spend the money on a cam, that way you can get any lift you want and adjust the duration too. seems like a complete cam set up isn't any more money, arent those things like $600?

they know nothing about the new ls1 based motors...
they have nver been schooled on 'em <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
they still think its based of a 350 block...

which arent most rockers for them like 1.5 = whic would be why he would say 1.6 right... you want to go 1.6 to 1.7 or 1.7 to 1.8 right? always to a bigger number...??

You would want to go to a higher ratio to open the valves more. So, if a stock 350 chevy had 1.5's, then 1.6's would be an improvement. I found that the stock LS1's are 1.7. So, the 1.8 would be an improvement, but 1.85 would be a bigger improvement. But, like Silent1 said, the cam and rest of the valvetrain would have the biggest effect - the rocker arm ratio would enhance whatever valvetrain changes are made.
