Im not looking for a awsome et but i was wondering before i went out tonight...its a 4.8 with HPP3 k&n intake descreened MAF and flows i know the 20's are going to kill me but im just wondering...9.50? 10.00? this is the first time its goin on the track so o, kinda excited to see what it will do. i know it wont be awsome but im racin the dragster this weekend so goin 130 in 1/8 isn't to bad ....but thanks chris

also....what's a average number of hp and tq at the wheels for a 4.8?

My 4.8 dyno'ed 240 rwhp, 251 rwtq, but it had a few minor mods (catback, e-fans, etc.). Also it is a 4WD

my 02 extra cab 4.8L ran a 10.3 with flowmaster and UPD
and dyno'd at 246hp and 257tq with the same mods in 2nd gear

 

go get it done and post back up.

my 4.8L runs 9.20's at 76mph in the 1/8th.....
where you close to that????

 

i have run 9.06 in the 1/8 n/a and 8.23 on the gas.

 

haha well i wasn't suprised...i ran a 10.14 at 69 and a 10.18 at 69 i knew i wasn't going to run any great times but hey first time on the track with my truck....would i of been in the 9's with my stock rims on there?

but it was nice to get back into my dragster after my truck run and got 5.13 at 132 haha but thanks all of yall for posting up...chris..
