Default 08 GMC Sierra No *****

I just bought a new crew cab sierra with the 5.3 It has no power at all. What are some inexpensive things I can do to get some gitty-up to this truck? I am very new to this performance thing but I am really interested! I've been reading threads and lets just say things seem to be a liitle over my head. What can I do?

Default 08 No *****!

Is tuning and programming the same thing. Also, what can I expect in increased hp when using cold air induction using reg unleaded gas. Whats gonna be the best bang for my buck when it comes to bolt-ons?

If your gonna do headers you might as well do the rest of the exhaust system with a high flow muffler out back. Pay a little extra and just get the whole thing done at once. But yes, a tune and headers will definately give you some good gains.

and by high flow he means NOT using flowmaster.

My first mod was LT's ORY, 3" midpipe and Borla Muffler, with a tune. notice a dramatic increase in performance.

A Tune would be your single best mod like others have mentioned.... even my 6.2 was kinda pokey until I put a good tune on there...

Remember they want that 5.3 to support the new 5yr/100,000 mile warranty....de-tuned
