Default 07 up headers on 2002 2500hd

I am wanting to do long tubes on my 2002 2500hd. The long tube headers for the next body style up (gmt900 07 up) are $115 while the ones for the gmt800 are around $200. They look almost identical. Has anyone ever tried running the newer headers on an older truck? Ive seen where someone put older style on a newer truck, but never the other way.

Thanks
Lynn

What headers are only $115?

For that price they are bound to have terrible fitment. I put a set of Speed Engineering headers on a truck years ago and those fit good for the $300 they cost.

Some ebay stainless headers. I have bought a few sets for different vehicles, and they are actually pretty nice. Its amazing how good they have those 6 year old chinese kids welding nowadays.

AurthorsC2,

Thanks!! That is what I was wanting to know. The headers look good and the price is right, but if they don't fit they don't fit.
