Hey, I have a 06 4.3 litre truck and also have all the stuff for a 6 litre. Has anyone converted their later model chevy 4.3's to ls-basd and what do i need besides obviously the computer and harness and bell housing to my 4l65e

I looking to do the same swap with my 06. Has anyone done this swap on the 03 and newer trucks? The newer v6 have cable throttles, but the v8 have the drive by wire throttle body. I guessing you have to swap the pedal with the electric one. Anything else to it?

 

just swap throttle bodies on the new V8, get a stock 4.8,5.3 throttle body and put it on. 1999-2002 years should work!
