Default 05 ls2 in 07 gmc 4.8 ??

ls2 motor 24x crank 1x timing can I get it to work in 07 model or do I have to change to 58x and 4x timing or can I change wiring and ecm to get it all working I really don't want to go back in ls2 but if that's the cheapest route ill just freshen the motor up before it goes back in.

Why not use a 24x to 58x converter box from LPE?

If the ls2 has the 24x and truck is a 07 classic there's no change
