i have a programmer, intake, exhaust, and some other minor stuff done to it... and when i launch or just punch the gas... it spins... and my tires are not that good to begin with so i want new ones and i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on tires... or if adding wider ones on stock rims would help... or how it would look..

If you're running street tires try to go around the water, and don't do a burnout. I know...everybody loves doing smokey burnouts, but it really does nothing for hard street tires, plus, water hangs in the tread. The only thing the burnout does is clean the tires, but if you ever looked at some slick tires as they pulled into the beams, you'd be surprised at the amount of trash on them! That's why we went the those tire cleaning tools with the brush on them when we run the Alcohol Dragster. Ultimately, you want to do one final wipe of the tires just as the driver lights the pre-stage light.

Of course.....once the driver lights the pre-stage light, he usually whacks the throttle a few times to clean out the engine! 3000 HP in your ears will make em ring for a few hours!
