Default 04 silv + LS6 intake/fuel rail = fuel line?

I am about to swap over an LS6 intake and f-body fuel rail onto my 04 silverado. The thing I noticed today (don't know how I missed this till now) is the truck fuel line comes from BEHIND the engine (not from the side like the f-bodies). It does not look like the fuel line would reach to the fuel rail port.

I know other people have done this swap so I would like to know what they did for the fuel line. Worst case I could cut the rubber line and extend it.

what i seen the mechanic do when they did my swap is that they went from underneath the truck and started messing with some clips that were holdin the lines and they removed them and the fuel line reached

I just put a 90 degree bend in the fuel rail where the inlet connects. worked great, but you need a brake line bending tool or you could put a kink in the tube.
