the trans was a 65 though right?

Yes all 6.0s have been w/65 in 1/2 tons

You got me there. HD 1/2 ton but thoses are really lite 3/4s

04 and previous denalis have the LQ4, they get the 325/375 rating from different computer tuning and different exhaust. All 6.0s in 1/2 ton trucks recieve the 65E where as the 1500hd's get the 6.0/80E combo. All of the suv's with the 6.0 have the 65E as well. In 05 the Denalis recieved the LQ9 with the same ratings as the SS and VHO or Vortec Maxx. In 05 they were also backed by a 65E. As far as 06 and up I dont know.
