Default 03 Drive by Wire Throttle body!

Has anyone bought one of these yet, and if so, how was it,? Is there enough room to shave the interior of the manifold to fit right?

NOt sure what exactly you're asking, but I have a drive by wire TB on my sierra. Or are you talking about the BBK 80mm DBW TB that they offer or in other words a performance DBW TB? I've checked into them and they seems to be of quality construction and fit and finish is as expected, but I think it's pretty much the same song and dance as the other TB "junk" for our trucks....a waste of money for what you get. Your money is better spent on something else, IMO. I did a TON of searching and research on this and MAFs a few months ago and came to that conclusion. HOpe this answers your question, if not just ignore me, I'm rambling!! LOL

BTW, I LOVE your 20's what brand and width are they? Are they standard backspacing or did you special order them, they look like they fit stock in the wheelwells. Nice truck! Also, what brand grille insert do you have? Do you like the fit and finish around the edges where it meets the factory chrome grille? I've tried some inserts and ended up taking them back because they didn't fit tight enough. Guess I'm too picky, but when you already have a killer looking front end, you don't wanna f' it up with something cheap. I put some Denali projector lights and clear corners onmine a few weeks ago and it cleaned up the front end real nicely!! Thanks for the inof on the wheels, also where'd ya get 'em?

Centerline Stingrays, not the III series, just the Stingrays. Got gusets on each arm for greater strength. They are 8.5" wide, I am running 275's on them, and they fit perfect. Perfectly aligned with the body, and no rubbing at all.

I got them from 702 Motoring from a friend of mine who used to work there. He got them with tires for $2600 out the door, which was about $300 cheaper than getting them at discount tires, the next cheapest place to order them. Check my Sig link for my Cardomain site for better pictures.

The BBK DBW TBs should start shipping in a few weeks.
