I bought a 02 GMC Sierra not too long ago after my other truck got stolen. I havnt done much performance wised to it besides a k&n filter, MSD wires, and a flowmaster cat-back. I have a 5.3 in it and I was wondering what mods I could do to make this thing faster. I was considering a 5.7 and sold it to go with the 6.0 but now ive been seeing a lot of ppl doing 383 with the 5.3 and say its a lot stronger than using the aluminum 5.7. I need some suggestions and opinions from you guys that have done anything from strokers to blown engines. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Why not just go with an FI 6.0 setup unless you want a truck like parish's truck that could net you all the power you need and it would dominate a na 383.
