Default $200 Yank install, finally find a shop to do it for that price!!

I called all 12 shops listed in the phone book and all quoted the repair manual on time and price, all were $300+. Called the last on list, Sun Vally Tranamissions and he said $200 right off the bat, no checking the manual, right on! He did say that if they have to remove part of the exhaust it would cost more, additional labor. I looked at the crossover pipe from the drivers side, do the cats and crossover pipe have to be removed? All it would intel is unbolting from the manifolds and the 'Y' collector. Any way, he was much cheaper than all the rest, one guy said $450. It's going in Wednesday!

I think they will have to remove the Y pipe, but that should be done pretty quickly.

Glad you found a cheaper install.

Yeah don't let them screw you on the exhaust part. It takes about 5 minutes to remove the pipe with regular hand tools.
