Default yet another squeaky truck thread

Hi, sorry to start another thread on this but this noise is really getting on my nerves. I have an 02 Sierra 5.3 ECSB btw. Every time I accelerate or decelerate suddenly it will give a quick loud chirp or a series of chirps. I hear the odd chirp when I hit a pothole, but its mostly at start and stop. I have been searching around the forums and it seems that the most common cause is either the leafs or the shocks.

Any advice on how to pinpoint the problem and permanently fix it?

You may want to check your shackles. They squeak a bit when the bushings get dry.
