mt tt3k was a nice converter for a cam'd and bolt on DD, but thats about the extent imo. Not like you can make huge power and have it last. For the OP I think it would be ok tho.

Billy,
You know how my truck drives with the TT3000, and it took me about a week to get used to it around town. I went with the TT3000 because I had never had a vehicle with a high stall converter and I was worried about the around town manners with all of the stop and go that we are faced with in our area.
If I could go back in time, I would go with at least the Yank SS3200, and more likely the SS3600 in my truck since it isn't a daily driver. For a daily driver, I would probably keep go with the TT3000 again. After driving the TT3000 for a few months, it's like having a stock converter in there. It would be the exact same for you.

I hear what you're saying, but I like the feel of the TT3000, and I think it will match my future combo well (LQ9 Vinci 220/224 WCCH StageII 317's). Actually, I feel that a 2600 stall would work with that combo, but the 3k would bring me into a meatier part of the torque curve.
