Sorry to hear bout ya truck. Get a lawyer,Get 2 or 3 different doctors opinions. You may or may not need to see a surgeon. It started with just a tingle in my fingertips and got progressively worse with pain and numbness up to my shoulder. I just had a fusion between c6 an c7, and have some nerve damage, Physical therapy helps a little with pain. Right arm still tingles, pins and needles. I cant pitch anything, or sneeze ,feels like i stuck my finger in a 120 ac socket. GOD Bless. I hope physical therapy helps you.

I love that quote. I hope this works out for ya. Will B&B give ya a new system? Or repair old one. I'd want/ try to fight for new. They're systems are nice, I wanted B&B but got a deal on Corsa I couldn't pass on. Anyway, what bout your Yank? Will Yank be covered if it's faulty? Or other aftermarket parts? I hate dealin w/ insurance.
U pay all that $ & then they or other people's ins. co fight w/ you every step, hassle w/ claims & other problems.

Let us know how this all works out. On another note, the color of your Impy is the best. PM me w/ some pics sometime @ your leisure, if u like.

From What I understand is B&B puts the pieces in the jig seem to recall it being 5 and any section out of shape is chucked and a new piece made to replace it. I actually went with the B&B b/c it was a g/p and the $ was too good to pass up.
About the Yank, It is definatly out of warranty, Truck is an 01 and I put the converter in in June or July in 03. I have been looking at the gm service manual and the only condition that sound like what I got is Converter drainback. It describes the symptoms but not the cause or the fix. Anyone know what that is? or exactly what causes it?
As far as lawyering up, I contacted my sister, she is a prosecutor in St. Tammany, she made a couple of calls to her freind who are lawyers and who handle this type of case. She said they will not deal with small claims against Allstate. Seem Allstate has a take it to the mat policy. Allstate will pay thousands of $ in expert testimony and lawyer fees to avoid even paying a little more. Seem it is so well know cnn did a story about it.
SO unless the damage to my back and neck are perminate they don't want any of it. A couple said they would write a letter about the repairs for an hour pay but did not recommend it, since at that point allstate would most likely lawyers up and cut me out of the loop and only talk to my lawyer.
