Default YANK break-in period?

i was looking around yank's website and found this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
BREAK IN PERIOD…
Yank converters have a special clutch lining material that requires a special break in procedure.
This procedure consists of:
Driving the converter at normal speeds with NO WOT starts or brake stalling the converter for approx, 150 miles.
Stall checking or Brake stalling will severely damage the clutch lining if converter is not broke in properly. This will void any warranty.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
oops....i never noticed this before. i wonder if i damaged my converter by not breaking it in? when i had my yank installed, i only made it about 100 ft before i decided to paint some black lines on a helpless sidestreet. just wondering if everyone did a proper break-in or cheated a little.

My 2600 blew up within 2,000 miles. I didn't follow the break in period

On the other hand, I had a 3000 for about 8-10K (guessing) with no issues.
