Default Wow! Gear Swap Difference

I had 3.08's along with a Zexel Unit(LSD) before upgrading recently to 3.73's. With the 3.08's it would spin a little bit, then kinda bog down until about 20-25. The best I could cut with Zexel/3/08's was a 2.2 60'. Although I was able to cut a 2.1 with 3.08's and one wheel wonder.

Im in the break in stages still with the 3.73's but just did a WOT from a stop. WOW, I roasted the tires and was getting fishy across the intersection!! Awesome.

I can't wait until the break in is complete and I change the gear oil.

This was the very first full throttle run and I let out about 40.

Well I have some updates.

When I had 3.08's, I made a trip from Baytown to Dallas running 65-75mph(I dont have cruise control) and got 24.5mpg.

Now with the 3.73's, I just made a trip from Dallas to Baytown. I have not done the final calculations, but it appears to be about 21mpg at 75mph half of the trip and about 85mph the other half of the trip. At 80mph Im sitting about 26-2700rpms.

I also have a Blackbear tune with this last trip though.

I think that is pretty damn good mileage for the 4.3, especially at 80mph with 3.73's.
