hey jim i was looking at those also , i dont know the wieght on them is the reason i havent pulled the trigger. let me know if you decide to get them. i keep my eye out on ebay for some weld evo's since they make them in an 18 x 10 but havent seen any go for decent prices. i just picked up the nitto 555r's in 305/45/18 and im using them on my centerline 18x 8.5 i know they arent recommended for anything smaller than a 9.5 but i have seen them on my buddies 18x8 and they dont have a bulge or anything , i actually used them last time out and ran a 1.609 60 ft with them.

Your truck looks great! Love those flames. Very unique.
Your the one that bought your truck from Brians partner right?
Your previous screen name was 04Chase right?
What kind of prices have you gotten already on rims?

I would do 16's if I was keeping the crappy rear drum brakes, but I'm upgrading to the Baer brakes rear disc conversion sometime soon. I cant stand the drum brake pulsations I've got since my truck has had 12K on it.
The Baer kit requires an 18" wheel or larger.....

theres a market for it. how many trucks now are performance? how many are stock 20s or higher?
if you speak of it they will make it lol, but they should make it and as for sidewall theres plenty of cars with 18s or 17s hooking well with small sidewalls
a 20"DR would be nice for the street and use my slicks for the track

I called MT and they said at this time they are not making the size or any time in the near future. That may change if you get ahold of a diff tech but as of now according to the tech I talked to the new MT sizes for us truck guys is a no go
Jim check into some polished centerlines they are the lightest wheels out there for the price that I have seen. Check out the clearance section they have some damn good deals in there(50% off or more).
