Default Will it hold?

Would a 4L60E with a Shift Kit and Vette Servo hold say 350 RWHP N/A? Or should I just break down and order one from FLT? Any help at all is appreciated.

I'd say order one BEFORE you break down LOL... (I know what you meant)

I guess I should've worded that differently!

Thanks for the help, looks like I need to go put an order in. I wonder if they would install a different TQ Converter if I sent it in?

dont know... I am guessing you'd have to ask. what are you trying to get re-stalled? most of the time the manufacturer will do it fairly cheap.

I just have a stocker now. I was going to buy something like a TCI 3000 and send it to them so they can install it when their building the tranny. I wonder if they already have them built and ready to ship out though?

I think the level 4 is ready, the level 5 isnt built till you order. Its worth the wait, but maybe not over the level 4. As far as a converter, Id search about TCI before you decide on them. Also, you dont have to have them install it, theres no guarantee it wont slip off the shaft and if not reseated itll bust the pump (thats what I hear at least ) I think FLT recomends Vig's. but a lot of people have great sucess with Fuddle and Yank also.

Well I just ordered a Level 4 and their going to install the converter I send them. I talked to Chuck and Doug, pretty cool guys and easy to work with. I'm either going with Yank or Fuddle, something in the 3000 range. I researched TCI some and didn't like what I read, so I won't be going with them. I think the total price was $2050 after the core exchange, sound about right? Thanks for the help ya'll, hopefully this will work out well.

sounds like a very fair deal... I'd definitely use a yank or fuddle convertor over the TCI... JMO though.
