Doesn't anybody have the '06 NHRA rule book? If so, what does it say about the location of rear down tubes. I thought the rule was that they needed to be at least halfway up main hoop and they need to be at a certain angle. I'm guessing somewhere around 45* in relation to the frame.

Litreddevil, The two bars that create a V inside the cab, where the removable bar is. Why are those their? They look to be more of just getting in the way then being worth anything?

i was going to put them just for extra so that the top bar could not move it ties everything together that is the only resaon.

i was thinking about taking my back glass out, fill the hole in and then put a smaller glass in it so the bars wont go thru it...

take the headliner out and run the tubes above the glass straight out then down?

What about making the rear bars removable for street duty and just making plugs for the lexan rear window.
