Default Will an 05/06 rear fit an 07 nnbs(see post)

So some projects i want to get done are rear disk convert, posi, gears.I was talking to a guy who has a rear end off an 06 that has disk ,posi,373 with 26000 miles on it no towing. You guys think it would swap to my nnbs.i can get it next to nothing.I know the g80s suck and it might be a 8.5 compared to my 8.6 but its better than the damn pegleg i got now.

06 was drum, unless it has a 14 bolt in it. Why do you want disc in the rear?

No reason just figured cause it had all the good stuff for now like the posi and gears but thinking about it might be cheaper to do posi/gears in my rear assembly now.If it will fit i may grab it though.I have that option too.
