i am hoping for the same thing you are thinking of bluecajun. no spin and a little more down range.

as far as 4.56 gears i would go with 28" dr's or they have some 30" dr's now.

Thanks guys!!! I'm just trying to pass the traps @ a determined rpm and tire size in third gear which will be determined by a chasis dyno where the power falls. I just wnated to get some ideas on tire size!!! This might make some sort of sense......

i was looking through the new summit and they have new sizes for the 16" wheel. i think one was just a tad under 30" let me find it and i'll post the link

apparently i didn't look at wheel width. you have to have wider wheels

will the 28X11.5 fit on a stock 16" wheel???

Im thinking like you goshawk, I think my 26" e/ts are hurting me on the top end...

ap, if i'm running a 26x11.5 on stock rims, im sure you could run the 28's on them also.

yea they should fit. bigkid has his 26x11.5's on stock wheels. i have the tahoe wheels that i use and there gonna be put on there regardless. lol

I have some 26x10.5 on them right now, but I bought some 26 x 11.50 about a week ago, havent mounted them yet but they sure do look alot wider!! I really didnt want to buy another 26" since I really want the 28", but I got these at a price I couldnt refuse...

same here ap. at first i wanted to get the 10.5 but found a good deal on the 11.5's.
they had 5 passes on them for $240 shipped.
