Default Where is it leaking?

Got the 5-speed transmission and realized it was leaking pretty bad today, i've had em do it to me before but it was from the output shaft seal, but this leaks coming from about mid way or so and was all over both sides of the transmission all the way up. Only thing i could think of was where the shifter was in the floor, so i check the hurst and it was a little loose, i yanked it out and look and the rubber isolator or whatever was torn up pretty bad, but i don't think this is what caused it to leak so much, so i everything back together but by the time i got the shifter back in it was dark so i haven't had time to check, but i was just curious if there's anything else up there that might be leaking that i can see, thanx in advance.

check your cooler lines, could be leaking from those and then running down the sides of the pan

You have a vent on the top of the tranny and if the tranny is overfilled then oil will come out of the vent. After you replace the shifter boot, check you oil level.
