Default where did i go wrong? (shocks)

ok guys i have 5" of drop in the back with stock shocks, i figured they were too long and to hard. i wanted softer shocks for better weight transfer. so i bought these summit brand drop shocks which were about 5" shorter, i installed them and they are harder? i was jumping in the back of the truck(lol) and the stock shocks could go way down and these new ones, i cant hardly get the truck moving?

BTW i read in an old thread that slowprocess used these and he said they were really soft and squated good?

Try the Street Performance drop shocks from Belltech.

Summit sport truck shocks are actually Doetsch Tech shocks lowered truck series. These shocks are firm by the way!!

Look closer at the bottom of the shock and you will see the part number on there.

Norcal SS uses these shocks for his customers, he could help you with the correct length shock that you need, maybe thats your issue.

that sucks, have you thought about stock style shocks with "shock extenders"?

you also have your overload out, when mine was out it was ALOT softer.. the gears make a whistling noise while cruising.

I believe so, also they are supposed to keep the stock suspension geometry... From the way i understand it, the more you lower it and more the shocks are at an angle...
