Where to cut V6 spring to get 3" drop

1 coil dropped it 3"

the passenger side sits perfect. i cut off the same amount on the drivers side and it settled a half inch lower than the passenger side..dammit

you see when i did mine i cut exactly half a coil on the passenger, and roughly 1" back on the coil for the drivers side and it sits perfect on both sides.

so i need to pull the passenger side and cut off 1 more inch to get it back sitting perfect?

my truck didnt have chevy lean before this. it sits at exactly 16" from the hub to fender well on every corner of the truck....looks like my front end will sit about a half inch lower than the rear now.

weight transfer feels the same the ride is better though. maybe when i bolt up the slicks it will transfer more.

do you have a flip kit in the back? my front measured 16" too with 275/45/20, back was a little over 17". i'm thinking about a flip kit.

well i have the spring out now and no answer. guess im just going to chop 1" down on the high side and hope it drops it around .5"

welll ****. cutting the spring 1" made it drop 1/4" lol. the good news is im getting this spring swap **** down lol. from start to finish with a test drive and cleaning up took me 1 hour. whats dumb is that im going to let this damn 1/4" drive me nuts. im guna leave it alone a drive or 2 and see if it settles any more...and hopefully i will forget about it and leave it alone. 1/4" wont even be noticeable to the eye but im used to my truck sitting perfect on every corner.
