Default wheel hop

i have a 01 2500hd 496ci Allison 4x4 crew cab, the problem that i am having is that when i drive my truck in the sand, if i am in a dead stop and try to drive out of the sand the rear tires will hop and shake up the truck. i almost got the truck stuck in the sand because of it. its wierd because i can do a burnout on pavement and both tires spin nicely. i just want some ideas or recommendations on how i can fix it. thanks.

Yes but spring clams greatly limit suspension travel, and when off road, you need as much as possible. Have you looked into ladder bars?

AIR DOWN THE TIRES! that and use alittle less throtle. i have seen numerous full sizes stuck in the dunes.due to the wieght factor. you just gotta be carefull about the way you are driving it.
