has any one ever ran a wheel adaptor going from 6x5.5 to a 5x5.5 the reason that i wana do it is to run the m/t drag wheels

How thick are those adapters? I noticed they make one for a 6x5.5" to 5x5" but a person would have to get quite a bit of extra backspacing/offset to get them to fit properly.

I got some for my blazer that are 5x4.75 to 5x5. they are about an inch thick and weigh a couple lbs each.
