ok.... i was changing my oil when i saw this big *** hole...... should i worry about it??

its an inspection cover... a sight hole... i would cap it... keep crap outta there

i know..... would the local auto parts have the cap ?? and would it be bad if i drove the truck without the cap ??

I would put one on
Not sure if the parts store has it but dealer will,just be ready to bend over.

I drove my truck around for ~5K miles w/o the larger cap. Picked up one from a recently parted out truck. All covered up now.

my 60Es never had them caps in there...
my 80E doesnt even have the lower half of the bellhousing on it
